Workshop: Tango Nuevo - style and musicality
Following on from the popular Nuevo Tango workshop in January, we'll be running another workshop on this style of dancing.
Data and Time: Sunday 27th March 2011, 2pm - 6pm
This improver-level workshop will focus on the expressing your style and interpretation of the music within "Tango Nuevo" style dancing, in open embrace, to non-traditional music, and using movements such as Adornos, Caricias and Pasadas to illustrate some concepts and tools you can use to improve your quality of Tango Nuevo dancing.

Who's it for?
This workshop is for those people who are familiar with the concepts that have been covered in both the Beginners workshop and the Improvers workshop.

What will you learn?
The following topics will be covered:
- Technique: Musicality, expression, improvisation
- Figures: Adornos, Soltadas, Pasadas, Rulos and others.
We'll also be dealing with general issues relating to dancing in a "Tango Nuevo" style, including:
- Musicality: variations in tempo and techniques for matching movements to music.
- Expression: the technique requirements to express the feel of Tango Nuevo.
- Style: some tips for improving visual style without compromising essential technique.

Where: Fitness First gym (dance studio), 172-176 High Street, Berkhamsted HP4 3AP.
This dance studio is ideal for learning, as it has air-conditioning, a high-quality sprung wooden floor, a good sound system and a full-length mirror. You can even have a shower afterwards!
Cost: £25 per person, £40 per couple.
